Bob Anderson Bob Anderson, age 65 of rural Tracy, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 14 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Private family burial will be at a later date. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert Anderson was born September 12, 1949 in Marshall, Minnesota to Hector and Lucy (VanMoer) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. Bob attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Tracy Public School. He graduated from high school in 1967 and from the University of Minnesota in 1971. On June 19, 1971 he married Kathy Weedman in Tracy. Bob was the CHS Location Manager. He served on the Tracy School Board and Monroe Township Board. Bob loved the outdoors, hunting deer and elk, and 4-wheeling,  He enjoyed vacations with his family at Lake Andrew near Alexandria, going on cruises, and putting up Christmas decorations. Bob also loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Bob is survived by his wife Kathy of 44 years; children: Brad (Suzie) of Farmington and Cola (Tony) LaSota of Maple Grove; grandchildren: Kiana, Isabelle, Ryder, Jackson, and Jameson; sisters Kathy Anderson of Breckenridge and Kris (Paul Hamilton) Anderson of New Jersey; mother-in-law Eunice Weedman of Marshall; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Heck and Lucy Anderson and father-in-law Donnie Weedman.

    Hi Kathy,
    Very sorry to here of Bob,s passing. Ronnie has kept us informed of Bob,s suffering these long past months. Unfortunately, we have a medical appointment in Sioux Falls that day (you know how that goes) so can’t attend Bob,s funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
