Renetta I. Bode August 24, 1941 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.  Renetta enjoyed working side by side with her husband Ezra on their dairy farm near Wood Lake, and also had several jobs outside the home when needed.  She was a lifetime member of St. Luke’s, to which her great-grandfather was one of the founders.  Renetta was also a member and officer of the Ladies Aid and caretaker of the church with Ezra for many years.  She was always there for everyone with a loving hand and heart and often put everyone else’s needs before her own.  Renetta enjoyed gardening – both flowers and vegetables, baking and decorating cakes for all special occasions, and was famous for her rum cake.  Her fun loving nature will be greatly missed.
