Clifford KnollClifford “Cliff” Martin Knoll age 54 of Fairfax went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax.  Visitation is 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.  Burial is in Hauges Cemetery, rural Franklin.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting family with arrangements.

Clifford Martin Knoll was born August 5, 1960 in St. Cloud, MN to LeRoy and Sharon (Owen) Knoll.  He attended Silver Lake School.  On March 10, 2004 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lisa Teubert.  Cliff worked at Ag Systems as a welder and helped at the Turtle Farms in Gibbon during harvest.  Cliff was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  Cliff was an avid outdoors-man as he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his hobby farm, taking care of all the animals.  Cliff cherished his family; he was a father figure not only to his children but to his nieces and nephews.   He was a proud Grandpa and he loved all of his grandchildren. Cliff may have been a small man but he had a huge heart and was always helping family and friends or anyone who needed help.  Cliff had a kind heart and a quick wit and will be dearly missed by all who know and loved him.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife Lisa; children: Chance and Thea Knoll of Fairfax, Breanna Baumann (special friend Whitney Exsted) of Biscay, Courtney (Duston) Cohrs of Gibbon, Nicole Knoll (Brian Wendinger) of North Mankato, and Alicia (Ruben) Flores of Fairfax; grandchildren: Bella Cohrs, Aaron Knoll, Bella Flores, Brooke Wendinger, Xavier Cohrs, Kira Flores, Lucille Cohrs, Caitlin Wendinger; and four grandpuppies.  He is also survived by his father LeRoy (Marion) Knoll of Biscay; mother Sharon (Dwight) Neubarth of Backus; brothers: LeRoy “Butch” (Rachel) Knoll of Slayton, John (Kelly) Jaskowiak of Harvey, ND, and Terry (Kathy) Knoll of Hutchinson; sisters Gwendolyn Fulkerson of Stewart and Gretchen (Milo) Hahn of Gaylord; stepsisters Judy (Alan) Eisenmenger of Silver Lake and Janet Wanous of Hutchinson; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law: Brian (Deb) Teubert of Eden Valley, Mark (Pam) Teubert of Lester Prairie, Chad (Nikki) Teubert of Lester Prairie, and Leif Teubert of Hutchinson; sister-in-law Cheri (Rich) Turbes of Springfield; father-in-law Alan (Joan) Teubert of Hutchinson; mother-in-law Sandy Anderson of Lester Prairie.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, cousin Nate Owen, brothers-in-law Wayne Fulkerson and Craig Wanous, father-in-law Don Anderson, and his hunting dog Hunter.

    I am one of many 1st cousins and have known Cliff for many years during our adventures into adulthood.
    May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.
    Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may you take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you.
