Autumn Rose Jones, age 24 of the Lower Sioux Community journeyed to the Spirit World Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 14 at the Lower Sioux Community Center.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lower Sioux Community Center and continue until the time of services on Thursday.  Interment is in St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Autumn Rose Jones was born December 11, 1986 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, to Vernon Jones Sr. and Melissa (Columbus) Chee.  She attended school in Woodbury, Burnsville, and Redwood Falls.  Autumn enjoyed horseback riding, including competition barrel racing; trapping and skinning gophers, camping, and fishing.  She was a Fancy Shawl Dancer, and loved dancing at Pow-Wows.  Autumn had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and riding around listening to music.

Autumn is survived by her mother Melissa & Christopher Chee of the Lower Sioux; father Vernon “Bush” Jones Sr. of Red Lake; siblings: Vernon Jones Jr., Brandon Jones, Felicia Jones, April Jones, Travis Jones, Alexa Jones, Monique Chee, and Kristy Chee; nieces and nephews: Shania Jones, Camron Jones, Dante Garcia, Tiara Thompson, Audrina Jones, and Jazzmin Tsosi; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  She was preceded in death by Joe Briseno, grandparents: Tom & Iola Columbus, and Kenneth Jones and Lillian Kingbird Jones, and cousins: Salina Eller, Monique Wilson, and Chad Gruendemann.
