Beverly Kimball, 76 of Lanesboro died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at her home.

Graveside memorial service and interment will be held at 3:00p.m. Saturday, May 5th at Memorial Hill Cemetery in Lake Benton. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the service at United Methodist Church in Lake Benton.  Stephens Funeral Service-Tyler Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A memorial service was held on Feb. 21st at Faith United Methodist Church in Spring Valley.

Bev was born July 22, 1935, in Hendricks, to Walter and Mamie (Johansen) Hurd. She attended school and graduated from Lake Benton High School in 1953.  She was united in marriage to Leo Kimball on Oct. 24, 1953, in Lake Benton and together had four children.  Leo and Bev lived in Marietta, Hendricks, Spring Valley and Lanesboro.  She worked as the church secretary for Faith United Methodist Church in Spring Valley and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.  She also enjoyed decorating her home, walking, exercising, watching her grandchildren’s sporting activities and was an avid follower of the MN Twins and Vikings.  Bev was a member of the Birthday club and was a member of Faith United UMW.

She is survived by her husband Leo of Lanesboro; sons: Mike, Dan and Todd; 10 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; five brothers: Ray of Lake Benton, Darwin of Pipestone, Bob(Barbara) of Lake Benton,  Jim(Sandy) of Springfield,MO and Richard(Corrine) of St. Cloud.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a grandson, Benjamin and one brother, Floyd.
