I was so sorry to hear about Lloyd’s passing. I can’t remember a time when the Skjong’s weren’t a part of our lives. Those thousands of cups of coffee that he and Dad had at our kitchen table, solving all the problems of the world. Those were always very special times and I will keep them in my heart always. All of you are Don’s and my thoughts and prayers.

    Love,

I guess we knew this day would come, but that doesn’t make it any easier for those who care about Lloyd. Your family was such a large part of my youth…baling hay with your Dad, riding with Sharon in that old blue car, Connie teasing me as a little girl, Sandy taking care of us when Mom & Dad went on vacation, being in 4-H and singing with Bonnie in our “The Five Of Us” group and riding with Curtis and Lee on the school bus. My Aunt Cleone Flynn says “Funerals are for the living”. For that very reason, I wish I could be with all of you tomorrow when you say goodbye to Lloyd. I have a soft spot in my heart for him and all of you. Blessed be Lloyd’s memory.

Condolence to ALL of Lloyd’s families. We always loved to have Lloyd come into our business here in Westbrook. He was one of those special people who brightened the day and gave everyone a big cheer. Sincerely, Jim and Peggy Klasse

  4. The 1st time I ever met Lloyd & Margaret was when they came to Chicago to visit their son Curtis. I remember Margaret just made herself at home in his kitchen and made the best banana bread. (she looked so cute in her apron)
Lloyd always had a big smile on his face and kept me laughing! Just like Curtis.
Well as it turned out Lloyd had to fly back the following week because Curtis needed a witness to get his Passport. Hi was working as a National Makeup Artist for Lancolm and was going to Paris France for a huge event where he even met the face of Lancolm at the time Isabella Rossalini.
Oh what beautiful people they were and are! I’m so glad to have met them
