Mary MonsrudMary Ann Monsrud age 76 of Redwood Falls, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  Graveside Services will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Dovray.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary Ann (Christensen) Monsrud was born June 19, 1941 in Hendricks, Minnesota to Alvin and Gladys (Finstad) Christensen.  She attended country school near Canby, and graduated from Canby High School.  Mary was united in marriage to Adolph Monsrud in Canby.  They first made their home in Marshall before moving to Redwood Falls in 1971.  Mary worked for Control Data, Zytec and Artesyn Technologies.  She had a good sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Adolph; children: Dawn Hefflefinger of Portsmouth, VA, and Chad Monsrud of Redwood Falls; grandchildren: Christopher and Justin Hefflefinger; and great-granddaughter Willow Hefflefinger.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers: Rodney, Ronald, and Roger.
