Mavis ResemiusMavis “Marvelous” Jolene Resemius, age 59 of Morton, formerly of St. Paul, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.  Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20 at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home.  Visitation is one hour prior to services.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mavis Jolene (Bollenger) Resemius was born June 12, 1957 in Roberts, South Dakota to Johnny and Gladys (Cloud) Contreras.  She was a graduate of Mechanic Arts School in St. Paul.  On June 1, 2001 Mavis married the love of her life, Steven Resemius.  She loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, taking in her nieces and nephew, and helping others, never expecting anything in return.  Mavis had a heart of gold.  She enjoyed embroidery, sewing, and making blankets.

Mavis is survived by her husband Steve; children: Kimberly Cloud, River Resemius, Lisa White, Crystal Cloud, and Coco Cloud; siblings: Carol Cloud, Terry Cloud, Ann Cloud, Casey Cloud, Brenda Gilbertson, and Tom Ebehardt; brother-in-law Tony Dow; and sister-in-law Cindy Zimmer.  She is preceded in death by her mother Gladys Marie Cloud, father Johnny Contreras, daughter Sherrice Cloud, and nephew Sky Blue Cloud.

I have always loved you sense 1996 the year i was blessed ,That year we met . you shared your life with me and I thank you for always being you there is no one better friend i could have asked 4 in life .
