Teresa LindeTeresa Lynn Linde age 41 of Redwood Falls formerly of Renville passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 15 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.  Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service.  There will be a private family interment at a later date.  The family requests guests wear purple in honor of Teresa. Teresa Lynn Linde was born November 27, 1976 to Waldo Newman and Janice Holcolmbe in Augusta, Georgia.  She was baptized in the Baptist faith.  Teresa attended Interlachen High School and went to Ridgewater College in Willmar for Nursing.  She married Kirby Schmidt in Granite Falls, Minnesota.  On April 17, 2006 she married Paul Linde in Watertown, South Dakota.  Teresa enjoyed going on trips in the truck with Paul and the boys.  She worked at Hawk Creek Animal Shelter in Willmar.  Teresa loved animals and always cared for them dearly.  She also enjoyed her car and painting from time to time. She loved spending time with her family.

Teresa is survived by her husband Paul of Renville; children: Aaron “AJ” Phillips of Detroit Lakes, Desiree Wallace of Florida, Dustin Taylor Newman of Redwood Falls, and Nathan Douglas Schmidt of Renville; step children: Kayla Marae Linde and Justin Linde; six grandchildren; mother Janice Gewerth of Redwood Falls; siblings: Ricky Newman of Redwood Falls and Tabitha Skeen of Starbuck and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son Zachary Newman, brother Michael Jackson, sister Mareessa Abrahamson, nephew Stephen Michael Johnson and father Wald Newman.
