Brenda Ann (Remmers) Schoborg was born July 19, 1965 in Heron Lake, Minnesota to Duane and Carol (Frey) Remmers.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Heron Lake.  Brenda graduated from Heron Lake Okabena High School, and furthered her education at the Vo-Tec school in Mankato for sales and marketing.  On October 21, 1989 she married Mark Schoborg at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Westbrook.  Brenda worked at Brown’s Shoe Fit where she sold shoes, and then worked as a CNA at the nursing home in Windom.  She later worked as a bartender for 18 years, and most recently worked as a cook at Sanford Westbrook Medical Center.   In 1998, Brenda, Mark and their children miraculously survived an F4 tornado which wiped out their whole farm.  Brenda served as area CCW president, provided noon meals for Kiwanis for many years, and was involved in an Extension Club.  She loved mowing lawn and helping Mark on the farm. She loved her children beyond measure, and she attended all of their events.  Brenda was known as a generous person, and even in death, her giving continues as her donation of tissues will touch numerous lives.

Brenda is survived by her husband Mark of Westbrook; children: Shane (Jazmin) of Tracy, Sara of Lake Crystal, and Tyler of Westbrook; parents Duane and Carol Remmers of Westbrook; siblings: Tracy (Steve) Gundermann of Westbrook and Chad (Tammy) Remmers of Austin; nieces and nephews: Candace Stolp and family, Catherine Olsem and family, Joshua Gundermann, Stephanie Byers and family, Lucus and Jacob Remmers; brothers-in-law Scott Schoborg and family and Greg Schoborg and family; and many other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, and parents-in-law Pete and Betty Schoborg.
