Connie Dittbenner Constance “Connie” Dittbenner, age 64 of Seaforth, died on April 18, 2015 in Sun City West, AZ, after an eleven week battle with cancer. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home. Visitation is 8:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the services. Burial is in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth. Casual dress is requested as we will be processing to the cemetery on motorcycles. All motorcycles are welcome. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Connie was born September 13, 1950 in Staples, Minnesota, the daughter of Wallace and Kathryn (Loftis) Scruppie.  Connie graduated from Motley High School in 1968. She moved to Seaforth in 1988 where she owned and operated “The Bar”. On September 20, 1990 Connie was united in marriage to Dana Dittbenner in Seaforth. Connie moved to Arizona in 2012. She enjoyed riding motorcyles, camping, spending time with family and friends, and she loved all things country.

Connie is survived by four sons: James Allen of Ironton, Jason Allen of Redwood Falls, Jeramy Stencel and Jammy Stencel of St. Cloud; three grandchildren: Ashley, Beau, and Joshua; and one great-grandchild, Destiny. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dana on March 19, 2005, and her sister Kathryn (Hollister) Scruppie.

    Family of Connie, You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I didn’t know Connie real well but she still managed to touch my life. She wrote me such a nice message back in March. What a special friend she was to my Dad!! She will be missed!
