Cory RadenCory John Raden age 38 of Redwood Falls passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 4, 2017.  Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Redwood Falls.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Interment will be in the St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cory John Raden was born October 18, 1979 to Richard “Dick” and Marie (Tauer) Raden in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He was baptized at St. Peter Catholic Church in North St. Paul.  He graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 1999.  After his schooling, Cory worked at Artesyn Technology until he was no longer able to work due to medical reasons.  He enjoyed running, and ran Cross Country when he was in school.  He was a member of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  Cory enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and gunsmithing.  He especially loved his yearly deer hunting trips with his dad and spending time with his son, Gaven.

Cory is survived by his son Gaven; mother Marie Raden of Redwood Falls; brothers: Rick (Danielle) Raden of Redwood Falls and Brian Raden of Apple Valley; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Richard, brother Alan, and grandparents Raymond & Adella Tauer and John & Florence Raden.
