Floyd “Buzz” R. Tisue was born May 9, 1947 to Lloyd and Susan (Downing) Tisue in Tracy, Minnesota.  He was the youngest of three boys and then three girls were added to the family.  Buzz lived his entire life in Tracy and attended Tracy Public Schools.  Over the years he held various jobs.  For about 30 years he did lawn care and snow removal alongside his brother Alvin.  He enjoyed wood working, making lock boxes, decorative shelves and benches.  Buzz loved to go fishing in area lakes and to have picnics.  He always enjoyed our family get-togethers. Buzz would always reminisce about the “good ole days” with neighborhood friends.  He lived a very quiet and humble life, not wanting to gain attention for himself.

Floyd is survived by his siblings: Alvin Tisue, Mae (Jim) Quigley, Ina (Harvey) Rykhus, and Mary (Alan) Grunden all of Tracy; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Clarence.  Blessed be his memory!

  1. My deepest sympathy to the all the family of Buzz. I didn’t know him personally but I know he will leave a large empty spot for his loved ones. May he Rest In Peace and God Bless his memory.

  2. My deepest sympathies during this very trying time. I had the great honor and privilege of knowing this wonderful man. I even had a few years of working with Buzz and Alvin. We grew up just a block apart from each other. May God comfort all of you, and hold you now, and forever…
