    Perhaps they are not stars but rather

    We were so shocked to hear about Jack. Dick has many memories working and going out with you guys. We reminisced alot the other nite. He is at peace and in no pain. God Bless you and your family.

  3. May there be prayers for peace of mind… of a life of love and memories to be shared for generations. A legacy of piety will always be remembered in the hearts of those that accept the gift.

    Cheryl and Family: Our thought and prayers are with you in this sad time. Jack was a good man, a hard worker and always had a funny comment while observing things. We will miss him as a neighbor ‘down the street’. Jack & I worked keeping 11th street open for people to get through during the winters until the city snow plows came. We will miss him. There is a better place in heaven, without pain or suffering. We wish Jack a wonderful trip. Rick & Elaine

    Cheryl and Family;
    Just a short note to express our sympathies on your loss. Jack was a very kind man, played hard, and was just fun to be around. My memories of him at the body shop at Scott-Preusse’s are one of fun and great body working.
    You and your family are in our prayers.

    Cheryl, Tony, Rick, family,
    Our sympathies are with you. The words of scripture bring comfort, strength, and hope for such a time as this:
    “that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. . .”I Thessalonians 4:13-18, words written to those who are believers in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, to those who believe Jesus died for our sins and rose again.
    I’m so glad we stopped by and enjoyed a good visit with you both, Jack and Cheryl, the summer of 2010 on our way back to Mom’s from visiting Janine. Otherwise, my (Karen’s) best memories of Jack are probably of my uncle Jack, along with my uncle Jim, in his teens, good-looking and enjoying life. God’s grace and blessings to all of you.

    May God be with you at this time. I remember when you lived in Jeffers and knew all of you. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you .

  9. Dear Aunt Cheryl and family,
    I am glad that we found each other and have kept in touch through social media since we haven’t been able to see each other personally in many years. We prayed for Jack’s healing but God decided to take him home and heal him there. The Bible says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” He is now whole and rejoicing.
    I remember Jack as being a “fun loving uncle” and I wish I had been able to spend more time with you both.
    Aren’t you happy to have had the gift of all those years with each other in marriage? I know your memories will bring a smile to your face and peace to your soul. Someday we will all be reunited in heaven with Jack, grandma Coulson, and all our other loved ones who have gone ahead of us. Until then, may the Holy Spirit be your comforter and may you truly sense a “peace that passes all understanding” at this time of sorrow and loss. You will continue to be in my prayers. God bless you! Hugs.

  12. Cheryl, I have been in Minneapolis babysitting for one of our grandchildren & didn’t hear about Jack’s death until Tom just told me. I am so sorry to hear this news. You & Jack were so kind to Izaskun, our student from Spain, & you took Jessica & David to Valleyfair with you so many years ago. He was a kind man & will be missed. Our hearts go out you & your sons.
