Journee Menk

Journee MenkHe was on a Journee to heaven that required him to be fierce!  Journee William Menk gained his wings at the New Ulm Medical Center at 9:37 a.m. on September 28, 2018.  He weighed 7lbs 1 oz and was 22” long.  Mommy, daddy and sister are making as many memories with their perfectly, precious baby boy.  Services were held at Birch Cooley Cemetery near Franklin.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Journee is survived by his parents Dan Menk & Tasha Zieske of Franklin; sister Lauryn Menk; grandparents: Steve Menk of Franklin, Karen Zieske of Renville & Terry Zieske (friend DaNel) of Renville; great grandmas: Dorothy Menk of Alexandria, Bonnie Lund of Franklin & Joyce Zieske of Renville; aunts and uncles: Dody (Pete) Fuhr of Redwood Falls, Darrick (Deb) Menk of Alexandria & Melissa Zieske (special friend Shane Bruns) of Olivia; cousins: Taylor, Logan, Emilee, Sydney, Zenner & Everlee; and many other relatives.  He is preceded in death by his grandma Becky Menk, great grandparents, great aunts Deanne Dahl & Kathy Dickmeyer, great uncle Mark Weinzetl & other close family and friends.
