Karver Gregg Karver Dean Gregg, age 20 of Redwood Falls, unexpectedly started his journey on Saturday, April 9, 2016.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, April 13 at the Lower Sioux Community Center.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm Tuesday at the community center.  There will be a prayer service at 7:00 pm.   Visitation will continue until the time of the service Wednesday.  Interment is in St. Cornelia’s Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Karver was born November 25, 1995 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Denny Gregg and Chris Johnson.  He was baptized in 1997 with his brothers in Minneota.  Karver attended grade school in Lynd, and attended Redwood Valley High School and Eci Nompa Woonspe School.  He received his General Ed Diploma in 2014.  Karver traveled for work, building grain bins with his brother Dustin.  He also worked at Wayne’s and Morgan’s Deli where he was an excellent cook. Karver participated in many tribal activities.  He loved the outdoors and hanging out at the “secret spot” with the people he loved.  He loved going on adventures and road trips, traveling with his brothers and friends, and going to concerts.  Karver was a great singer.  He also enjoyed swimming, riding dirt bike and 4-wheeler, and being with his family and huge group of very close friends.  His daughter Serenity was the most precious thing in his whole life.  Karver worshiped and cherished her.

Karver is survived by his daughter Serenity; father Denny Gregg of Redwood Falls; mother Chris Bartelt (Andy Marriott) of Morgan; brothers: Dustin Marlett and Dustin Gregg; sister Addy Garcia; grandmother Barbara Fluttum-Black (Jim); step grandmother: Hazel Johnson; his daughter’s mother Scarlett Avalos; loving friend Starr Brothers; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Skyler and Dillon, cousin Bradley Mauer, uncles Kenny Gregg and Brad Johnson, stepdad Mike Bartelt, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
