The world feels a bit more broken, as I learned just today of Bob's passing. As a brother of Alpha Sigma Phi I knew him to be loyal, dedicated and committed to helping others. I remember Bob most for his wit, his intelligence and his willingness to always to there when needed most. I ask for peace and blessings for his family and all those he loved, because they loved him in return. Rest well, Brother. We miss you, but we know your spirit is with us. In Phi, Jeffrey Hoffman

We will deeply miss Bob in the Welcome neighborhood! As we passed by his and Gary’s beautiful garden on our walks, we were in awe of his dedication and more importantly his kindness. We will miss seeing his smiling face in the garden and stopping by to chat with him.

My sympathies to all of you! Bob was a year behind me in school and I remember him as being very funny and smart. Good qualities that carried throughout his way too short life. God Bless! Ann (Rachuy) Tighe

You haven’t changed a bit dear Bob. What a loss for the world. Although we lost contact. You were always in our heart. The warm memories during the time we had together in Holland, New York, Washington DC will always stay with us. It was a privilege to have met you. Love you always it doesn’t matter where you are . I’m heartbroken. I’m very sad to hear this news. He was such a great person. I’m a fraternity brother and we worked together for the AU Alumni Office. I last visited Bob in NYC in the early 90’s and unfortunately we lost touch and I wish that wasn’t so. My heartfelt condolences to Gary and all of Bob’s family. Until we meet again Bob.
