Christopher “Dolly” Allen Dallenbach was born February 3, 1975 to Howard and Clarice (Christensen) Dallenbach in Westbrook, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. In his younger years, he liked baseball, football and hunting with his dogs. Chris always had a mischievous smile and a mind of his own. He was a true middle child and liked irritating his older sister and younger brother. But, when Chris heard his mom call him by his full name he knew he was in big trouble. In the spring of 1992, Chris enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and later graduated from Westbrook Walnut Grove High School in 1993. Following graduation he traveled to Lackland Air Force Base near San Antonio, Texas to complete his basic training. Chris was stationed at Rhein-Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany for about four years, where he was appointed to military police. When he returned to the United States Chris was stationed at Sheppard AirForce Base in Wichita Falls, TX and later was deployed to Saudi Arabia. Chris then received his honorable discharge in 2001. Chris had various jobs, when he got out of the service, but mostly drove semi-truck. His current job was working nights at Unity House in Worthington. Chris enjoyed boating, camping, playing cards and watching the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. Chris “ate, drank and slept” hunting especially deer, boar hunting in Texas or turkey hunting with the Henning and Olsem boys. Most importantly Chris loved playing with Melisa’s grandchildren.
Christopher is survived by his mother Clarice, siblings: Melisa (David Schroer) and Jesse; niece Jasmine (Joe Cantu) Schroer; great niece & nephews: Hunter, Kyson and Kinsley Hurt; hunting & fishing buddy Jayden Henning; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Howard. Blessed be his memory.
