Dearest Marilyn and family, sending prayers for all of you that you will find peace and comfort during this time. Darrell has passed on and God has blessed you with the wonderful memories you have of him!

Many fond memories with Darrell at bluegrass festivals, where we met. Right me slot and thoroughly enjoyed singing with him. Bought a dobro from Darrell and will cherish the fun conversation we had about it. I will miss you Darrell~see you on the other side. Kimberly Moser

Crying as I write this, he was a great friend, and I am sending love to Marilyn and his family. His struggles are over, and he's playing music for Jesus!

Marilynn and family, our deepest sympathy from Paul and Carol Horrisberger. I traveled many miles and did many bluegrass music shows with Darrell as his bass player in the band, Dick Kimmel and Co. Darrell was a good friend and band mate. I remember showing up for shows when people would be waiting for Darrell to see what instruments that he brought along to sell or trade. He was the best and will be missed! Paul Horrisberger
