David and I very much enjoyed our recent phone visits. I will miss him! David helped make all of us cousins feel so welcome when we would visit the farm. My favorite memory is from May 2024, when he took me on a field road tour and driving trails at the river on the John Deere Gator. We saw a large eagle's nest, came within five feet of a wild turkey hiding in the tall grasses, and looked at family items along the river trail, including the rusted frame of a Model T that generations of Kramers have played in, and a disc that my dad farmed with in 1950. It was a wonderful day!

I am so sorry to hear of David’s passing. David was a classmate, neighbor and a dear friend of mine. He was such a kind, sweet, man. Always smiling and just so respectful. We had many good laughs. He will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences to his family, wife, sons, and all who had the honor of knowing David . Rest in peace David,
