Patti & Tom, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. But, quite honestly, you were so very lucky to have your father in your lives for so long. Know that you were blessed by that and celebrate all the good things that your father was and accomplished. He made the world a better place and in particular, he raised two very fine children. God Bless you and your families during this difficult time. Take care, Paul LaRocque

Tom and family, We always respected your Dad. What a wonderful service in his honor. I'm sure he was pleased as he looked down. "There is no greater joy than knowing your children are walking with the Lord", and I'm sure he felt that way.

Hello, cousins, condelences and love. I knew your Dad. He was a nice man. Take care and love. It's hard to lose a parent, and grandparent. Love,Sherlyn Hook Brown

From Per Peterson: On behalf of the staff at the Tracy Area Headlight Herald, the Hook family has my most sincere condolences. Eugene was truly a great man who had a tremendous impact in his community and in the agricultural world. Small towns like Tracy need more Eugene Hooks, especially during these trying times. Personally, Eugene and my father had a great relationship, which spread throughout my family, all the way to my daughter, Olivia. When any group that Olivia was part of in high school visited Prairie View, she always made a point to visit with Eugene in his room (I have a picture of them together, which I will always cherish). God bless the Hook family in this most difficult time.
