Thinking about Gerald this Christmas season, and wanting to again exchange cards. My mom is Cleone Smith Flynn, Geralds cousin.

Jerry had more experiences than any one man ought to be entitled to. The world would be a much better place with more Jerrys. Instead, we are all the losers with his passing. Lots of memories.

Jerry was a great guy. And he sold me a great old Gremlin, while working for Hemmingsen's. Then he got interested in a painting I had done, of a bearded guy sitting on a chair. We both got bargains. Wonder if that painting is still around; I'd like to buy it back! Also remember some golfing, but he probably gave up on me in that dept.

So many memories of playing golf with Jerry, my dad Eddie Hansen, Doc Von Bokern, Kenny Drevers, and Glen Suprenant. Lots of friendly book discussions at the Dairy Queen. A few political discussions as well. Lots of coffee time at the Tracy Country Club. Gosh you'll be missed Jerry.

Rest in peace Uncle Jerry. You were a true gentleman and a joy to be around. You will be missed!
