Lois Reynolds, age 92, of Westbrook passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 8 at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7 at the Westbrook Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Interment is in the Westbrook Cemetery.

Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lois was born August 9, 1930 in Tyler, Minnesota to Clyde and Minnie (Kunze) Meek. She attended school in Balaton. Lois was united in marriage to Leslie Reynolds on September 10, 1948 in Balaton. They lived in Balaton together for a short time before moving to Pipestone for three years. They then settled in Westbrook. Lois and Leslie were parents to six sons. Lois was active in the VFW and Legion Auxiliaries, Westbrook Lions Club, Hospital Auxiliary and Senior Citizens. She enjoyed watching football as well as playing cards with the card club. Quilting, gardening and baking – especially caramel rolls and bread – were some of her hobbies. Lois’ favorite pastime was visiting and spending time with her friends and family – especially her grandchildren.

Lois is survived by her six sons: Carroll of Marine on St. Croix, Anthony (Becky) of Douglas, WY, Wayne (Kathy) of Casper, WY, Phillip of Sioux Falls, SD, Ancil of Devil’s Lake, ND, and Paul (Linda) of Hartford, SD; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sibling: Lila Bailey of Sioux Falls, SD; and many special nieces and nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Leslie in 1986; her parents; her sisters: Dorsie Lewis, Evelyn Meek, and Helen Weeks; and her brothers: Donald Meek, Eugene Meek, and Carroll Meek.
