Robin PendletonRobin Pendleton, Sr. age 52 of the Lower Sioux Community journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Cornelia’s Guild Hall, Lower Sioux Community.  All-night visitation will begin Monday, July 11 at 6:00 p.m. at the Guild Hall and will continue until the service on Wednesday.  Burial is in St. Cornelia’s Cemetery, Lower Sioux Community.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robin Todd Pendleton, Sr. was born May 11, 1964 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Robert Theodore Pendleton and Janet M. Schmidt.  He lived in Minneapolis until enlisting in the US Army.  Afterwards, Robin moved to Redwood Falls where he met Michele Gregg.  They had 6 children.  He lived on the Lower Sioux Indian Community.  Robin was a champion wrestler and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cruising around and listening to music.  He was a Men’s Traditional Pow-Wow Dancer, Lower Sioux Royalty, and an Honorary Unkana (Grandfather).  He loved his family and culture, creating traditional Native craftwork, and was a great father, Unkana, brother, uncle, and son.

Robin is survived by his children: Marcus, Robin, River, Hunter, Caitlin, Desiree, Roberta, and Dwan; grandchildren: Justice, Abel, Marcus, Robin, Paulina, Jayceon, Peyton, Nefertari, Sasha, Nevaeh, Todd, Syncer; father Robert Pendleton of the Lower Sioux Community; nephew Kevin; brothers Reginald (Karen) Pendleton of Redwood Falls and Ronald Pendleton of Morton; and sister Anita Pendleton of Morton.  He is preceded in death by his mother Janet and sister-in-law Elizabeth Gregg.

  1. Rob will be surly missed by all of us. I did not see Rob much, in the last few years. The hundreds of mornings, and evenings, we spent fishing, and the times, we spent enjoying each others company as friends, will always hold a place in my heart.” Miss You Brother”

  2. I have many fond memories of Rob growing up in Minneapolis. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he rest in peace.
