Terri Lynn Carlson was born July 9, 1956 to Bud and Londa Carlson in Westbrook, Minnesota. Terri spent her childhood in the caring community of Dovray, Minnesota, enjoying her church there, and attending school in Slayton, MN until the age of 15. She then moved with her family to Norfolk, Nebraska, where she lived, learned, worked, and was confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Terri brought love, joy, and adventure to friends and neighbors there until moving back to Minnesota in 1978. Terri brought unconditional love and pure joy to everyone around her! She loved to sing, dance, “twirl”, and cheer on the Vikings! She earned many ribbons and medals competing in the Special Olympics events of swimming, volleyball, and bowling. Terri joyfully celebrated family birthdays, baptisms, vacations, graduations, weddings, retirements, and baby showers. She always looked forward to the next party! Terri has always been our “family favorite” with her infectious giggle and “spicy” personality. Her hugs and smooches were the absolute best! She was cherished and cared for deeply by so many individuals throughout her life. She has truly been “love personified” to her family and friends. Terri’s immediate surviving family members include: mother, Yolanda Carlson; sisters: Nancy (Carlson) Revier, Carma (Bob) Ochu, Wendy (Scott) Dieter; nephew: Jeremiah (Nina) Dagel; nieces: Jody (Dan) Blackburn, Abby (Eric) Sahnow, Sarah (Matt) Haggerty, Emily (Alex) Baxley; aunt, Phyllis Vosberg; and many loving cousins, great nieces and nephews.
