Michelle K. Leith

Michelle K. Leith, age 56 of Benson formerly of Redwood Falls, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 12:20 p.m. at CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital from complications following heart surgery.  An all-night wake service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Lower Sioux Guild Hall, until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 11.  

Michelle K. (Lamb) Leith, Wia ya hei ta kah mah “Woman who walks on earth”, was born April 14, 1965 to Dennis Lamb and Judith Peters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She was baptized and confirmed at an Episcopal Church in downtown Minneapolis.  Michelle attended South High School in Minneapolis.  She married Thomas Leith Sr. on April 13, 2007.  Michelle had love for everyone no matter what.  She had a contagious smile and a one of a kind laugh.  Laughter followed her everywhere she went.  There was never a dull moment with her and she was fun to joke around with.  Michelle was easily scared, but had a goofy personality.  She was a firecracker.  Her kitty was very special to her.    Michelle enjoyed visiting with people and spending time with family, especially her grandkids.  She will be deeply missed. Although we are sad to see her go, we take comfort in knowing her husband Tom is taking care of her again.

Michelle is survived by her children: Charie Heil of Benson and Renee (Rudy) Gonzales of Kerkhoven; grandchildren: Salicia, Arriana, Raul, Xander, Xavier, Maiya, Naveigh, Rudy III and Royce; father Dennis (Sheila) Lamb; sisters: Melinda (Alfred) Richards of Willmar and Madonna Lamb (Earn Woods) of Redwood Falls; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Leith Sr., mother and stepfather Judith & Homer Foss.
