Beverly “Beve” Florence (Bolstad) Scholl was born on October 4, 1928 to Alfred M. and Florence E. (Larson) Bolstad in St. Peter, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Beve attended St. Peter Schools and graduated in 1946 and continued her education at Gustavus Adolphus College. She worked at Minnesota Valley Gas Company in St. Peter for several years until she was united in marriage to Dale W. Scholl at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter on July 26, 1958. They made their home in Redwood Falls, where she remained until the summer of 2019 when she moved to be closer to her children. Beve never wavered in her faith and love of God. Beve was a long-time active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and served as a deacon, circle member, and religion teacher. Beve was known for her selfless, gentle, caring and loving spirit, inner strength and grateful heart. She was a classy, creative and artistic woman with a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed working outdoors and tending to her flower gardens. She enjoyed Bridge Club, Study Club and other community activities. Beve was a dedicated and loving wife and stay-at-home mom of three children. The joys of her life were her dear husband and family, especially her grandchildren. She loved spending time with them, attending their many school activities and was proud of their accomplishments. Throughout her life, Beve was a blessing to all who knew her. She will always be loved, always be missed and always be in our hearts forever. Beve is survived by her children: Jane (Mark) Gjevre of Wayzata, Mark (Darcy) Scholl of Prior Lake and Erik (Jackie) Scholl of Eden Prairie; grandchildren: Taylor, Brody (Erin), Griffin and Madison; great-grandson Killian; step-granddaughters: Hanna, Heather and Haylie; special nieces and nephews and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Dale, parents Alfred and Florence Bolstad and brothers Robert Bolstad and James Bolstad and other loved relatives. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all the staff at English Rose for their exceptionally kind, compassionate and loving care of Beve the past four and a half years. Thank you to the Grace Hospice team for their wonderful care and support during the past few months. Blessed be her memory. |
