Danny “Don” Dale Prescott was born on July 13, 1957 to Albert and Evelyn (Goodthunder) Prescott in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church in the Lower Sioux Community. Don attended the Bishop Whipple School until sixth grade. He and his twin brother, Denny, were in the last 6th-grade class to graduate before its closure. He then graduated from Morton Public School. After school, he then worked for the Redwood Nursery, various construction and truck-driving companies and worked with his brothers in their businesses. Don enjoyed working at his brother Greg’s shop, keeping busy, and helping with projects. He always was there to say, “Look out; let me take a look at it!’ Don was blessed with two children, Leanne and Tyler. He took care of Tyler and Lindsay’s dog, Snoop, his best friend, and enjoyed spending time with his brother’s dog, Peewee. He had a stroke about 5 years ago and was no longer able to drive semi. He enjoyed going for rides with Tyler in his semi-truck. Don was a quiet, simple man who appreciated music, listened to Jackpot concerts, played slot machines for entertainment, and watched many sporting events, including baseball, football, NASCAR, Sprint car races, and traveled to see some races, and much more. He was always on the move, often driving around to check out what was happening in the area, waving to family and friends, or enjoying his favorite Chinese food. His grandkids meant the world to him, and his family and friends will miss Don’s laughter and inside jokes. Don is survived by his children: Leanne (Kenny Holmes) Prescott of the Lower Sioux, Tyler (Lindsay) Prescott of Redwood Falls; Step children: Marc Pendleton of Lower Sioux, Jennifer (Phil) Bickhardt of Morgan, Josh (Lisa) Larsen of Redwood Falls and Jane (Nathan) Anderson of the Lower Sioux; grandchildren: Grayson Gary, Asher Danny and Ellia Elizabeth; numerous step-grandchildren that will deeply miss him; one step-great grandchild; siblings: Gary (Diane) Prescott, Deb (John) Robertson, and Denny (Michele) Prescott; sisters-in-law: Brenda Prescott and Jolene Lucio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
