Cheryl Fury

Cheryl Janice Fury, age 80 of the Lower Sioux Community, MN, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026 in the comfort of her own home. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Cansayapi Wicoicage Oti – Lower Sioux Incubator, located at 39527 Res Hwy 1, Morton, MN. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cheryl Janice (Blue) Fury was born January 29, 1946 to Roy “Bud” and Juanita (White Eyes) Blue in Igloo, South Dakota. Cheryl worked for years as a loan officer in California. She was a long-time tribal member of the Lower Sioux Indian Community. Cheryl had a huge heart and loved her family more than anything; especially her dad, Bud. She loved her pets and watching her garden grow. Her family and friends remember her as classy and sassy. Cheryl’s personality was that of a brilliant shining star and she had a laugh that filled the room.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Lisa E. Fury & Vincent C. Fury; grandchildren: Marcus (Aaliyah) Fury, Abella Fury, and Shelby Serbus; siblings: Jina Powless-Red Nest, John R. White Eyes & Robin Blue; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Juanita; sisters, Terryl M. Blue & Linda “Benny” Blue-Jumping Eagle.
