Dean Bartsch

Dean Allen Bartsch, 80, died peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, at New Ulm Medical Center. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dean was born on July 6, 1946, in Mankato, Minnesota to Ewald and Everell (Schmiesing) Bartsch.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Ruth (Schapekahm) Bartsch; his children: Sarah (Justin) Rogers, Emily (Zach) Ryland, and Brian (Taylor) Bartsch; and his four grandchildren: Andrew Rogers, Shea Ryland, Lily Bartsch, and Brooke Bartsch. 

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Ewald and Everell Bartsch.

A private service will be planned at a later date.
