Linda Marie (Hoseck) Berreth was born March 5, 1950 to Harold and Blanche (Gjovig) Hoseck in Canby, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Canby and graduated in 1968 from Canby High School. Linda met Merle Berreth in Sioux Falls, where she was in school for cosmetology. They were united in marriage on November 13, 1971 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Canby. The couple lived in Pipestone, then moved to Lake Benton, and later moved to Morgan, Minnesota. In 1975, the couple moved to Redwood Falls, where they made their home. Linda was always a very hard worker; she worked at the DAC Robert Milton Home, Johnson Park Place, and the Divine House. She enjoyed being a caregiver and working with people all her life. Linda loved to stay busy gardening, tending to her flowers, taking care of her yard, and going for walks through the park or at the community center. She was a life-long blood donor. One of Linda’s favorite things to do was having coffee with her friends.

Linda is survived by her son, Brent (April) Berreth of Moorhead; five grandchildren: Christopher, Carsen, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn and Austin; great-granddaughter, Adeleia; brother, Curtis (Patty) Hoseck of Canby; sister-in-law Marie Ruza of Selby, SD; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded by her parents; husband, Merle, and son, Eric “Bumper” Berreth.
