Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2026 at Northwood Church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. After graduating from Redwood Falls High School, he attended Agricultural School in St. Paul and Vocational School in Willmar, where he studied auto mechanics. On June 29, 1957, Gordon married Ann Conner in St. Paul. They began their life together on a farm south of Redwood Falls and later moved to the village of North Redwood, where they operated a dairy farm. Over the years, Gordon also worked in construction in West St. Paul and drove semi across the country, visiting every state. With his extensive knowledge of mechanics and a willingness to help others, he repaired many people’s cars and would never accept payment. In 2015, he returned to the Redwood Falls area to be closer to family. Gordon was a member of Northwood Church and had been involved in 4-H and FFA in his younger years. Away from work, he enjoyed time on the lake, boating and slalom water skiing. His love of the outdoors also took him camping and on visits to the Black Hills and Yellowstone.
