David James Kramer, age 63, of Vesta, MN, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, September 26 at the church, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Seaforth following the service. A meal will follow at Seaforth American Legion. David James Kramer was born June 1, 1962, to Marjorie (Starken) and Floyd Kramer. He was baptized, received First Holy Communion, and was confirmed at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Seaforth, MN. David graduated from Wabasso High School and attended Granite Falls Vo-tech for Ag Business. David loved farming even as a little boy and he eventually farmed with his Dad in rural Vesta, MN as well as working for several area farmers. David met Tabatha Christian and they married in Nov 1993, and were blessed with two sons, Joseph and Zachary. David also gained a stepdaughter, Amanda Kridel. David and Tabatha worked at Hoffco, they lived rural Vesta, and farmed and raised hogs as well. Later, David also worked part time for Mertens Farms and Doug Rohlik. David was a member of the Sheridan Township Board, and a member of the St Mary’s Cemetery Board. Family was always important to David, and he loved watching his kids, nephews and nieces grow into adults. David is survived by his sons, Joseph (special friend Kayla Kujath), and Zachary (Adrianna), step-daughter, Amanda (Neil) Flum, and their son, Jack; his mother, Marjorie; his siblings, Lisa (Galen) Stoltenburg of Kranzburg, SD; Scott (Maria) of Renville, Kevin of Vesta, and Ryan (Lisa) of Seaforth; nephews and nieces, Cody Stoltenburg, Blaine Stoltenburg, Jonathan (Hannah), Victoria, Kirsten, and Samantha Kramer; great-nephew and niece, Wrenley and Wyatt. David is preceded in death by his father, Floyd; his grandparents, Mathias and Ruth Kramer, and Harold and Alice Starken; and several aunts, uncles and some cousins. | |
