Raymond D. Harvey age 70 of Westbrook passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 at Sanford Westbrook Medical Center after a brief illness.  Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 10 at the Westbrook Funeral Home.  Visitation is one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ray was born December 24, 1943 in Sibley, Iowa to Roger and Alice (Hayes) Harvey.  He attended school in Sibley.  Ray worked at Toro in Windom for many years and also as a building mover for several years.  He loved tractors and the outdoors.  Ray enjoyed gardening and going to sales and junkyards.

Ray is survived by his wife LaVonne Krueger of Westbrook; children: Shawny (Brian) Peters of Bloomfield, NE, Don Harvey of Windom, and Gary (Donna) Paradies of Bloomfield, NE; grandchildren: Cortney and Colton Peters, and Brittni Paradies; great-grandchildren: Josh and Autumn Coleman; siblings: Carl, Marla, Norene, Deanna, Daryl, Galen, and June; and many other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, son Dean in infancy, and brothers Gene, Paul, and Teryl.
