Eleanor Fultz, age 90 of Tracy, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Heritage Pointe Senior Living in Marshall. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 at Tracy Lutheran Church. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial is in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Tracy Lutheran Church. Eleanor Gertrude Fultz was born April 21, 1926 in Walnut Grove, Minnesota to Albert and Sophie (Rasmussen) Freeburg. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. She graduated from Walnut Grove High School. On October 20, 1946, Eleanor was united in marriage to Bernard O. Fultz. The couple spent their lives farming in the Tracy area and raising their family. Together, Eleanor and Bernard enjoyed attending numerous community events and supporting school activities. Eleanor attended and was active in Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove and Tracy Lutheran Church. She was a member of Sorosis Study Club, Extension Club, Hospital Auxiliary, School Mother’s Club, church circle, and was a Sunday School teacher, 4H member and leader. She loved traveling, camping, flower gardening, cooking and baking.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Dennis (Linda) of Tracy, Dean of Tracy, Laura (Steve) Iverson of Montrose, CO, Ann (Kurt) Gramith of Big Lake, and Eric (Sandra) of Tracy; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Evelyn (Russell) Buterbaugh of Tracy; siblings-in-law Charles (Clara) Fultz of Hope, AK, and Don (Eunice) Fultz of Shoreview. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard, son Kirk, great grandson Jack Iverson, siblings: Esther Lee, Marlow, Kenneth, Howard, and Conrad Freeburg.

What a loss to the family, the Community and Tracy Lutheran Church !!! How fortunate that they first bought the farm so close to Tracy. If we recall correctly, the farm was owned by Loyd or Leo Guimond. As a family enterprise, it expanded to many more acres plus the hog business complete from birth to the market.
They left everything in good hands!!!!!!
