William “Bill” Jemming
William “Bill” Jemming, age 74, of Glenwood, formerly of Milroy, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Olivia.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment is in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Milroy. Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
William Arthur Jemming was born July 23, 1937 in Milroy, Minnesota to Arthur and Marion (Schunk) Jemming. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Milroy, and was an altar server for many years. Bill graduated from Milroy High School. On September 5, 1959 he was united in marriage to Theresa Bergman and together they had four children. Theresa passed away in August of 1981. Bill married Mirrella Rauschnot on August 29, 1992. He worked at Schwan’s for 23 years. He loved deer hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Bill enjoyed golf, country music and dancing, and riding in the truck with Greg. He liked doing anything outside: helping with farming, putzing with machines, and he could fix anything.
Bill is survived by his wife Mirt of 17 years; children: Lisa Jemming of Reno, NV, Pat (Bruce) Pape of Milroy, Trudy Nephew of Milroy; step children: Jeff (Karen) Rechtzigel, Greg (Fran) Rechtzigel, both of Carlos, and Deb (Jim) Knott of Wabasso; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Roger (Mary) Jemming of Albert Lea, MN and sister Ruth (Allen) Castle of Underwood, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Theresa, son Mark, and grandson Ronnie. |
