  5. Al was one of my favorite persons. He was always so very kind to us. His sense of humor, quick wit and ready smile made the world a better place. He will be dearly missed in my world and many others.

  6. Let us remember before God, Alden and all those who rejoice with us, but upon another shore and in a greater light. That multitude which no man can number, whose hope was in the Word made flesh, and with whom, in this Lord Jesus, we are forevermore one.
Let us commend our brother Alden to the mercy God our maker and redeemer, Alden, our companion in faith and brother in Christ, We entrust you to God. Go forth from this world, in the love of the Father who created you, in the mercy of Jesus Christ who died for you, in the power for the Holy Spirit, who strengthens you. At one, with all the faithful, living and departed, may you rest in peace and rise in glory; where grief and misery are banished and light and joy evermore abide.
    Amen
keeping you all in my thoughts,

Always a smile and how are you doing today, when I would run into him going into Homestead to visit my mother- in- law Betty. Al & Rosemary would include Betty in some of their outings to Jackpot and the many evening meals at Homestead. He was a great man, and went the extra mile at Brighter Homes if you were looking for something not in stock. Will miss his whistling while working on puzzles in the Commons! Prayers for you all as you prepare for the coming days.

  10. Although I did not know Al — I am not sure I ever met him — Yvonne was one of my many cousins whom I probably saw at some time in the early 1960’s and not since — I offer my condolences to his family and his friends, along with sharing the joy that Al knew his Lord and Savior, and is now in joy and gladness and without any more suffering or longing, as our Lord promised he will “wipe away every tear from our eyes”. GOD be with you.

We are Minnesota residents but spend winters at Lake Havasu City, Arizona,. where Al and Rosemary have also spent many winters. There was an announcement this morning at our Saturday morning coffee gathering about Al’s passing. Needless to say, many in the group who knew Al were immediately saddened. We have gotten to know Al over the past few years and have really enjoyed being in his presence. His great smile, kind personality, great sense of humor and infectious laugh made Al a real joy to be around. Our deepest sympathy goes to Rosemary and Al’s family in the loss of this truly wonderful and caring person. All of us at Lakeview Park will miss Al enormously. God Bless the memory of Al Remillard.
