Arline Busack age 91 of Echo passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Parkview Nursing Home in Belview.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1st at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Posen Township.

Arline Verna Busack was born July 3, 1921 in Echo Township, Minnesota to Walter and Emma (Kuehn) Stelter. She was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta, and later confirmed there on May 12, 1935. She attended country school for eight years and then Echo High School where she graduated. Arline furthered her education by attending Mankato Business College for two years. She then went to work for a lawyer in Mankato. On September 24, 1944, Arline married Leonard Busack. Together they farmed in Echo Township until their retirement in 1983. During retirement, they continued to live on the farm, traveled, and gardened. Leonard passed away in 2001. In 2005, Arline lived with her children until moving into assisted living in 2007. Arline was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church where she was part of the Ladies’ Aid and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Arline enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. While on the farm, she enjoyed walking many miles with her good friend, Judy Bendix, and loyal companion, Hoss, her dog.
Arline is survived by her daughters, Barbara Hillmer and her husband Kenneth of Burnsville, and Deanna Breitkreutz and her husband Karl of Redwood Falls; son Larry Busack and his wife Karen of Eden Prairie; grandchildren: Grant (Dawn) Breitkreutz, Nathan (Amanda) Breitkreutz, Seth (Kelly) Breitkreutz, Alex, Adam, and Noah Busack; great-grandchildren: Karlie, Cindy, Jeremy, Lane and Lexie. Also surviving are her siblings: Adeline Tabberson, Marvin (Marie) Stelter, and Jeanette (Larry) Degner; and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emma, husband Leonard, sister Lorraine Remmele, and brothers-in-law Harold Tabberson and Eugene Remmele.
