So sorry for your loss Betty was a wonderful teacher I enjoyed her at school and church. Years later about 12 years ago she was a volunteer at the surgery center at PCMC and I started working at the clinic and she saw me and she knew exactly who I was it is amazing how 40 some years later after having her as a teacher she remembers her students Betty will be missed by all

I’m so sorry for your loss. Betty was a favorite teacher of mine. I have so many wonderful, happy memories of having her for first grade. She took extra time with me when I was struggling with math. I have an angel she gave me and every year it has a special place among my Christmas decorations. When my oldest son brought home handmade Christmas ornaments from first grade, I sent Betty a picture of us holding our first grade ornaments because I still had mine from her class. She was a dear, dear family friend too. I will cherish my memories with her always. Bless you all.

  6. I worked with Betty at the Elementary School in Ruthton. She was genuine and caring. I will always fondly remember her laugh. She taught many students over the year and I would dare say she was probably a favorite. She has affected a lot of lives over the years….blessed be her memory. My sympathies to the family as they say good bye for now.
