Edward B. Burckhardt

Edward B. Burckhardt, age 86, of Minneapolis passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at St. Anthony Park Home surrounded by staff and friends, including life long friend Gordon Gerriets.  Ed loved to travel, and was a proud member of the Minnesota Rock Garden Society.  Ed grew up on a farm in Coon Creek Township, Russell, Minnesota, where his graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Russell Cemetery.  A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Park Home, 3rd floor, 2237 Commonwealth Avenue, St Paul, MN 55108, 651-632-3500.  The Tyler Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
