Jane Busse age 86 of Willmar, formerly of Sanborn, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Rice Memorial Medical Center in Willmar.

A public Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery south of Sanborn.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jane Busse was born March 7, 1926 in Charlestown Township, Redwood County, to William & Fredricka (Heydlauff) Busse.  She attended Sanborn private and public schools.  Jane was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed.  Recently she was a member of the Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar.  Jane loved listening to music, wearing jewelry and getting her nails done.  She enjoyed doing embroidery and fancy work.  She won many ribbons at the fair for her work.  She also enjoyed watching the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.

Jane is survived by her sister in law Genola Busse of Sanborn; nieces and nephews: Emerson & Melissa Busse of Sanborn, Gary Busse of LaSalle, Sue Lukpk of Truman, Sandy & Tony Roullier of Lincoln, CA & Jennifer & Ken Palm of Warren; great nephews and niece: Ryan & Jeff Lupke, and Brittney & Michael Palm; and other relatives, friends and the staff at Island View in Willmar.  Preceding her in death are her parents, and brothers Willard, Emery, and twin brother James.
