Curtis R. Murray age 85 of Revere, formerly of California, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at his home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Westbrook Funeral Home.

Curtis R. Murray was born February 24, 1928 in El Monte, CA to George and Fern (Smith) Murray. He attended Columbia Grammar School and El Monte Union High School. On March 19, 1950 he was united in marriage to Gladys Hansen. Curtis enjoyed growing plants and did nursery work in California. He was very musically inclined, loved woodworking, and collecting antiques.

Curtis is survived by his wife Gladys of 63 years; children: Sandra (Richard) Weedman of Lamberton, Diana (Alan) Normandin of Iowa, and James (Michelle) Murray of Revere; grandchildren: Amy, Michelle, Lynn, Heather, Jeremy, and David; 12 great grandchildren; and brothers Mark and Walter Murray. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Murray, brothers Conklin and Robert, and sisters Juanita and LaVonne.
