Curtiss JensonCurtiss Dean Jenson age 83 of Westbrook passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Westbrook Good Samaritan Care Center. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3 at the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Westbrook Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Interment is in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent via www.stephensfuneralservice.com. Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Curtiss Dean Jenson was born November 4, 1931 to John and Bertha (Nelson) Jenson. He graduated from Westbrook High School. On January 10, 1957 Curtiss married Doloras Davis at the Walnut Grove United Methodist parsonage. Curtiss lived and farmed in Westbrook all his life. He raised cattle and hogs. Curtiss was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. He loved to fish in summer and winter. Curtiss enjoyed his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be missed greatly.

Curtiss is survived by his wife Doloras of 58 years; children Lynn (Neal) Connelly of Hastings, NE, Steven (Brenda) of Jackson, and Donn of St. Peter; grandchildren: Codi (Randy) Shultz, Melissa (Bryan) Murphy, Stephanie Connelly, and Leah Jenson; great-grandchildren: Eliza, Ryder, Taylor, Gracie, Lillian, and Cecelia; brother Levi Jensen of Sacramento, CA; and sister Marlene Thompson of Vancouver, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Marvin and William Jensen, Dennis and James Jenson, sister Gloria Federer, and great grandson Sean Allen Shultz.

    She has shown the grace of God through her compassion and love of the Father.
    I truly believe we only find those graces through the love of one another, His mystical body here on earth.
    She has been given those gifts through the love of her grandfather.
