Gail Dahl

Gail Dahl…50 of Tyler passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Tyler Healthcare Center.

Funeral services will be at 10:30a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010,  at Danebod Lutheran Church in Tyler. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday 5-8p.m. at the Tyler Area Funeral Home  with a 7:30 prayer service, and will continue at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Memorial Hill Cemetery in Lake Benton.  The Tyler Area Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Gail Marie Dahl was born December 27, 1959 in Tyler, Minnesota to Orville and Darlette (Hubner) Wigton.  She was baptized and confirmed at Lake Benton United Methodist Church.  She attended and graduated from Lake Benton High School.  Gail was united in marriage to  Bruce Dahl on December 17, 1977.

Gail enjoyed fishing and hunting prior to her disability, loved flowers and birds and the outdoors, spending time with her grandsons and her dog, Roxy.  She loved to play Uno with her grandsons and was devoted to her family. She endured many courageous battles and held her head high with a smile.  She treasured her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her best friend Bruce Dahl; Children Jessica Dahl and boyfriend Chad Williams of Tyler, Tara Dahl of Arco; grandchildren Christian and Dahlton Muecke, Mason Williams, Kobe Dahl and Dakota Burke; siblings: Stanley (Annie) Wigton, Valerie (Lanny) Hulzebos, Connie (Quentin “Swede”) Crow, Les Wigton, Orville Jr. (Roxy) Wigton; Mother-in-law Barbara Dahl and brother-in-law Mike Dahl.

Preceding her in death are her parents,  grandson Levi Muecke and father-in-law Jerome Dahl.
