Byron DuboisByron Dubois, age 47 of Redwood Falls, formerly of North Carolina, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at his home, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 10 at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home.

Byron Steven Dubois was born August 30, 1962 in El Cajon, California to Sandra Brett, and was later adopted by Joe Dubois. Byron’s father was in the Navy, and as a result, Byron did a lot of traveling and attended many different schools. He graduated high school in Calumet, MI. He then attended Brown Institute in Minneapolis, MN. Byron was united in marriage to Susan Moilanen on October 10, 2009 at their home. He liked working with wood and making improvements on his house. He had a great interest in History and could answer any question on the subject. Byron loved to travel; especially to the Black Hills of South Dakota, but his true love was motorcycling. Byron was respected by many people and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Byron is survived by his wife Susan Dubois of Redwood Falls; sons: Andrew Carey, Steven Dubois, and Bryce Dubois; daughters: Dawn Carey and Jennifer Carey; sister Tami Dubois of North Carolina; dad Joseph Dubois; aunts; uncles; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Dubois.
