Jason Allen Goche age 30 of Sacred Heart, formerly of the Lucan area, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 21 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart.

Visitation is 5:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday AT THE CHURCH, and will continue one hour prior to services on Monday.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jason Allen Goche was born June 14, 1980 in New Ulm, Minnesota to Kevin and Patricia (Koll) Goche.  He graduated from Wabasso High School in 1998.  Jason enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2002, and was currently working full time with the National Guard as a Federal Technician.  On September 6, 2003 he was united in marriage to Sara Lichtsinn in Wabasso, Minnesota.  To this union two daughters were born: Alexis in 2006 and Brianna in 2008.  Jason was a member of the Lucan Fire Department, Arthur Kramer Legion Post #467 in Lucan, and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart.  He enjoyed reading, doing yard work, and spending time with his family.  Jason was a generous man and was always willing to help other people.

Jason is survived by his wife Sara; daughters Alexis and Brianna; parents Kevin (Ann) Goche of Seaforth and Pat Koll Goche of Marshall; brothers: Justin (Alissa) Goche, Josh Goche, Jered (Ashley) Goche, Joel (Katelynn) Goche and their daughter Erika; grandmother Marcella Goche; and many other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents Dennis Goche and Gerald and Eunice Koll.
