Helen Leenerts Helen Leah (Cable) Leenerts, age 41 of Redwood Falls, passed away unexpectedly March 16, 2017 at her home.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 22 at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home.  Visitation is one hour prior to services.  Burial is in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Helen Leah (Cable) Leenerts was born March 18, 1975 in Hollywood, California to Wayne and Linda (Dancy) Cable.  She was baptized and confirmed at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Helen attended grade school in Yuma, Arizona and high school at Canby and graduated from Redwood Falls High School.  She attended college to earn her degree as an LPN and later went back to receive her RN through Minnesota West.  Helen was married to Dean Leenerts to which their son, Brandon, was born.  She later met her long-time partner, Wade Hillmer.  Helen worked at the hospital and local nursing homes.  Helen most enjoyed doing home health care for two local boys.  She also enjoyed fishing with Wade, scrapbooking, quilting, and hanging out with her family and friends.  Helen’s true love and passion was her son, Brandon.

Helen is survived by her son Brandon; father Wayne Cable of Redwood Falls; mother Linda (Tom) Hendrickson of Texas; brothers Travis Cable of Redwood Falls, Luke Cable of Glenwood, and Kevin Cable of Missouri; long-time significant other Wade Hillmer of Redwood Falls; family friends Harvey Moseng and children; and many other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents and special friend Margaret Moseng.
