Hildur Maria (Anderson) Benson age 93 of Westbrook passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Westbrook Good Samaritan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church in Westbrook.

Hildur Maria Anderson was born March 7, 1920 in Moline, Illinois to Swan Martin and Ebba Florence (Klingberg) Anderson. She attended Northwestern Bible College. On June 13, 1949 Hildur was united in marriage to C. Rodney Benson in Trenton, Wisconsin.

Hildur is survived by her children: Rebecca Benson of Richfield, Kyle Benson of Griswold, IA, Thomas (Marilyn) Benson of Watertown, SD, and Lois (Dana) Nyquist of Golden Valley; grandchildren Ann Marie (Alvin) Esh, Erik (Julie) Benson, Kelly Benson, Sarah Benson, Jane Nyquist, and Abigail Nyquist; great grandchildren: Shalom, Kendal, and Giovanni; and sister Ruth (Anderson) Urban. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, sisters Ellie Loquist Damewood and Esther Wesenberg, and brother Martin Anderson.
