Katherine “Kay” Osborne, age 95 of Redwood Falls, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at her home due to heart failure.  Private family services will be held.  Online condolences may be sent at www.stephensfuneralservice.com.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

Katherine Osborne was born June 7, 1921 in Raymond, Minnesota to Tjark and Grace (Noor) Ennenga.  She was baptized and confirmed at First United Methodist Church in Raymond.  Kay attended Raymond Public Elementary and graduated from Raymond High School in 1938.  On October 26, 1940 she married Eugene Osborne.  They lived in Raymond for several years until her husband’s enlistment in the US Army in 1942.  Following his service, they lived in a number of towns and states while Eugene worked on the railroad, including Maynard, MN, Garretson, SD, Russell, MN, Marshall, MN, and lastly in Redwood Falls in 1993 where Kay has lived ever since.

Katherine is survived by one daughter, Jill (Osborne) Cameron of Montrose, SD; two sons: Tobyn Osborne and Drew Osborne (Jan Potter) of Redwood Falls; two granddaughters: Shelby (Matthew) Enright and Samantha Osborne (Luis Macias); and great granddaughter Ella Rose Enright.  She is also survived by nieces Vicki (Manfred) Akerson and Mary Ann Noor, great nieces and nephews: Brent (Missy) Akerson, Matt (Jenny) Akerson, and Bethany (Jeremy) Olson; and many other family members.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother John, sister Henrietta, and infant sons Lance and Ladd.
