Amy Luehrs age 60 of Westbrook, formerly of Richfield, succumbed to cancer Friday, January 11, 2012 at the Westbrook Good Samaritan Care Center.
Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service – Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Amy Luehrs was born September 26, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN to Kenneth and Adelaide (Hall) Armstrong. She was baptized on April 21, 1957. Amy graduated from Richfield High School in 1969 and served in the US Navy. On December 14, 1989 she was united in marriage to Richard Luehrs in Rosemount. Amy enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.
She is survived by her husband Richard of 24 years, of Westbrook; and sister Ann Armstrong of Austin, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents.
